Une petite démo de l’application Spout sur iPad mettant en vedette le feed Twitter de #confoo. Pas l’application la plus utile, mais Je Suis tout de même hypnotysé.

Sometime you can find inspiration in strange places, you just have to look for it :)

Handmade, bamboo, look like a moleskin notebook? My shiny new 3G iPad would be so happy to live in that case!

As a current user of Radian6 for some of my clients, I’m really curious to try the Engagement Console to see if it can replace tools like CoTweet and cie.

I tried Teambox and I really like the Twitter-like approach to project management. It’s way easier (and fun) to use compare to a regular ticketing/project management tool. They are working on a integration with Freshbooks and I hope they finish soon because it’s the only thing stopping me from using it :). Oh and did I mention the fact that it’s opensource ?

Google’s SEO Report Card is an effort to provide Google’s product teams with ideas on how they can improve their products’ pages using simple and accepted optimizations. These optimizations are intended to not only help search engines understand the content of our pages better, but also to improve our users’ experience when visiting our sites. Simple steps such as fixing 404s and broken links, simplifying URL choice, and providing easier-to-understand titles and snippets for our pages can benefit both users and search engines. From the start of the project we also wanted to release the report card publicly so other companies and webmasters could learn from the report, which is filled with dozens of examples taken straight from our products’ pages.

Rapport d’optimisation SEO fait par Google…! Je sais ce que je vais lire ce soir :)

This is a quick post about my experience with Spideroak, a online file backup/sync/sharing solution.

+ Like the fact that they a engineer-minded company
+ Being able to backup my server and my OS X / Windows computers with the same account
+ Good file compression / deduplication
+ Web sharing with differents rooms (ex : share files with clients)
+ Good encryption

- Sync feature don't seem to be working so well
- Sharing is 1-way only.  No way to for others to push files to you.  Dropbox do this really well (but Dropbox don't have any of the others features)

I ended up deleting my account (which was really easy) because the solution do not meet my needs.  But even then, I would recommend this product if your primary need is backup.
